I was born in Argentina but we left because of political upheavals so I grew up in Australia where I studied visual arts and discovered 16 mm cameras. My journey as an artist began in stop motion where I was a scenic painter, a prop maker and an eyeball specialist. Further credits include animation series, music videos, stop motion television commercials, educational software illustrations and giant rabbit costumes.
I taught animation while making picture books in Singapore before pursuing writing in London, then moving to the United States to study at SFAI and working as an illustrator for IXL Learning. I am now in Cambridge, UK. I write about faeries, talk to bunnies (plus the occasional rat) and draw. |
